Where Did My Diamond Go? - Jacob Collier / Music Video

« Where Did My Diamond Go? » is a sonic and visual sketch portraying one’s frantic search for empty treasures. 
Musician Jacob Collier and his team approached me to create this animation as part of the 10-year anniversary edition of his debut album, In My Room. "Where Did My Diamond Go?" was actually the musical seed for "Lark In A Sky Shop," another piece I created a music video for last year, making this project an exciting, full-circle continuation.
Hearing the track for the first time, I was excited to translate its dense, complex sounds into visuals. The main challenge was to faithfully sync with these specific, fast-paced auditory cues while building a cohesive narrative within the chaos.
